Investors, clients and users alike benefit from the partnerships that Axia forges with recognized leaders in technology and network services development.
Our relationship with technology innovators such as Cisco and Fortinet gives us access to high-level strategic thinking, and allows us to align our strategies with current development trends. Partnerships such as this are a two-way street: Cisco and Fortinet value our hands-on experience in designing and operating leading-edge Real Broadband networks; Axia benefits from their global reach, expertise and insight into how networked communications are evolving.
Axia is also a member of the Cisco Powered Program, which requires compliance with a rigerous set of criteria to ensure members have the equipment, staff and quality processes in place to provide high quality services.
Axia also partners with industry leaders, including the Galileo Educational Network Association and Microsoft, in designing and developing content for Intelligence Online, an online professional development centre for teachers.
Leveraging Axia’s experience as the designer and operator of the Alberta SuperNet, Axia and VINCI Networks are pursuing DSP concessions in France through Covage, a French private company in which the two companies each have a 50 percent interest. As an "operator of operators”, Covage creates and supports local access operators and Internet service providers as they deliver their IP services to administrative, business and consumer customers.
