How do I connect to the Alberta SuperNet?

The Alberta SuperNet levels the playing field for rural communities and residents and businesses in two key ways: it gives them access to the same level of government and social services that are available in larger centres; and it makes Real Broadband™ network services equally accessible to nearly every community across the province.

Residential

Most communities in Alberta now have local service providers who are providing high-speed internet access to residents over the Alberta SuperNet. For more information about Internet Service Providers in your community, check our list of SuperNet Service Providers, or contact us directly.

Business

And because the network is open to all providers – at equal cost – the Alberta SuperNet enables competition and creates opportunity for local businesses. Rural-based companies can use SuperNet to reach new markets, to manage their products and inventory and to control costs by sharing centralized applications and resources.

Alberta businesses can connect to the SuperNet through a local Internet Service Provider, or by contacting Axia directly, and we will help you design and implement your connection.

Public Sector

Alberta's public sector, including ministries, schools, health, libraries and municipalities, can connect directly to the Alberta SuperNet. For more information about connecting and the services available to you, please contact us.
