Alberta Students Take Voyage to the PastVisitors who wander the galleries of the Glenbow Museum find themselves on a voyage through history. Carefully preserved moccasins and items of clothing are juxtaposed with traditional and contemporary First Nations artwork. Audio recordings of political figures echo past images of pioneers, explorers, entrepreneurs. It’s a rich, varied and extensive collection – and the Glenbow wanted to find a way to share that wealth with Albertans who couldn’t visit the downtown Calgary museum in person. |
